Exploring Japanese Tattoos & Geometric Work in Victoria, BC

As my focus has shifted more and more toward large-scale tattoo projects, I tend to post a lot of “in progress” pieces. That said, I’ve realized that the complete works don’t always get the spotlight they deserve. With that in mind, I wanted to share a few finished pieces from recent months.

Japanese tattooing has always been my first love—its flow, storytelling, and timeless aesthetic will never lose their place in my heart. At the same time, I’ve developed a deep passion for Geometric, Dotwork, and Blackwork tattoos. Lately, I’ve noticed more clients asking to merge these two approaches: traditional Japanese tattoo elements combined with precise geometric design. When done on a large scale, I think they complement one another beautifully, creating bold, dynamic pieces that feel both modern and timeless.

If you’re wondering where to get tattooed in Victoria, BC, my tattoo shop has become a space where these styles can truly come to life. Whether you’re drawn to the depth and tradition of a Japanese tattoo or the clean symmetry of geometric work—or a mix of both—I’d love to help bring your vision to life.

I also take on projects of other styles and sizes from time to time. As long as there is clarity, contrast, and boldness within a tattoodesign it will stand the test of time … looking great on day one as well as year twenty.

Here are a few examples of completed projects, showcasing how these styles can stand alone or blend together into something unique.
